Spec Ops: The Line is generic but fun

Title says it all. The game is sort of like swat 4 or rainbow vegas with cover based shooting and exactly 6 or 7 decisions that effect nothing other than the trophies or achievements you get. I would say the game is fun because of the the AI. Your team mates and enemies are all very capable. In fact, first time I was playing, it was like I was playing with a co-op partner who has finished the campaign. There are only two problems with the game that I had. And let me warn you, they are problems for me  alone. I found the campaign to be very hard. Since it was cover based shooter, I started on hard. But it kicked me like hell. Then came FUBAR difficulty. It was the stuff nightmares are made of. The closest approximation of frustration I had with this game is Call Of Duty World at War veteran. My other complaint is its a bit short. With all my reloading, I finished in around 8 hours. I played it again for the platinum and overall, it was as short as COD MW2. If you can tackle the difficulty, its a fun game and an easy platinum. But I woud suggest renting it since its so short.

Gravity Rush is awesome

Its the first PSV game I got. I was actually surprised by how good it is. I thought it was a jrpg. But its a platformer. And a great one at that. Its PoP-Sot meets Dead space zero gravity with Zelda windwaker style template. I dont want to tell anything about the story because it will come off as silly. But I highly recommend it. Only drawback is the lack of dialouge. But its great when the game is going. Oh, and I loved the bosses.. Overal, my first PSV game was pretty awesome. And the cutscenes had a neat 3D effect I didnt realise until halfway through the game (I know they showed it in the preview. I just missed it..)

Oh,  and its a fun platinum as well. I got almost all trophies by just playing through the story twice (I wanted to play the game again just for speedrun). By the time I checked, I had only 2 trophies left. 15 minutes later, new platinum... Check out the trailer below.

E3 was awesome

Due to some unforseen blah.. i am at E3. I just wanted to share what I saw.. I'm not a journalist. So dont judge me. The best part of E3 was Sony's show and some demos as well as some sections ofxbox. The worst was undoubtedly Nintendo. I'm sorry to say this, but Nintendo sucks. To everyone who missed Batman Arkham City armoured edition on Nintendo, you should see it. Its hilarious. If you played resident evil 4, you know that you cant strafe left or right. It adds to the difficuty of the game. It is a handicap that raises the stakes. Nintendos WiiU raises does the same thing with a menu minigame which will make you want to chuck the damn thing at your armoured edition (Free tip: Its not armoured). Same goes for the zombie game whose name I forgot.
Sony on the other hand messed up their Wonderbook with bad players. I dont want to be harsh as I myself am not that great a player, but they got this woman who cant draw a four (thats the number four -'4' to be clear) with the ps move. I mean, come on... Seriously...
Other hilarious aspects were distributed throughout the show. But the best worst is EA. And by god did they fight for it. The cream of this cake is below for your pleasure. Just watch it with a straight face.
EA sports and Kinect.. a match made in hell.. And who would want to play any ea sports game with a kinect after last years madden at E3?

A special mention goes out for nintendo WiiU which apparently now has the capacity to render full high definition 2D images. Shame on you XBox and PS3. How dare you do this 6 years ago with 3D images. Let Nintendo lead you to the promised land of HD gaming.
